SECHLER ARCHITECTURE

My journey in architecture began working as a plumbing apprectice for my father's business, where I gained first hand knowledge as to how homes are put together. This perspective is one that has stayed with me throughout the years and is a cornerstone of my architectural philosophy. The best designed homes should be buildable. 

My studies in environmental science and biology at Bowling Green State Univeristy, 1990 -1994, fostered another cornerstone of my architectural philosophy, environmental stewardship. Homes should be designed that are in balance and harmony with their surroundings and take into strong consideration the impact on the enviroment.  

My architectural internship with Nichols Design Group, 1995 - 1998, provided my foundation in architectural graphic standards, design and detail, space planning, code compliance and customer service.

I went into business for myself in 1999 and have had the pleasure of working with numerous home owners, builders, developers, architects and designers over the years.  My business partner and cousin, Andrew Sechler, is a licensed architect and supports Sechler Architecture with our light commercial and multi-family residential projects. At Sechler Architecture, we take pride in providing exceptional design, thoughtful, detailed drawings, and excellent customer service.
